A chilling first-hand account from a Venezuelan security guard has shed new light on the dramatic capture of ousted President Nicolas Maduro, describing how US forces deployed devastating sonic weaponry that left defenders bleeding from their noses and vomiting blood.
Eyewitness to a "Massacre": The Guard's Harrowing Tale
The account, framed as an interview and shared on social media platform X by White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, comes from a guard loyal to Maduro. He described the events of January 3, 2026, as a one-sided "massacre" where Venezuelan soldiers were completely overwhelmed. The guard stated that hundreds of his comrades stood no chance against the technologically superior US invaders.
He recounted a sudden and coordinated attack that began with their radar systems shutting down without warning. This was immediately followed by an invasion of drones and nearly eight helicopters that encircled the compound. "From those helicopters, soldiers came down, but a very small number. Maybe twenty men. But those men were technologically very advanced," the guard said, emphasising they were unlike any force he had encountered before.
The Sonic Assault and Precision Strikes
The most disturbing detail involved the use of a mysterious non-lethal weapon. "They launched something—I don't know how to describe it... it was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly I felt like my head was exploding from the inside," the witness described. The effect was physically traumatic, with Venezuelan soldiers "started bleeding from the nose" while others began "vomiting blood."
This sonic disruption was paired with lethal precision. The guard alleged that the US operatives, numbering only around twenty, fired at a rate of 300 rounds per minute, killing hundreds of Venezuelan forces "without a single casualty" on their own side. "We were hundreds, but we had no chance. They were shooting with such precision and speed," he lamented.
Months of Planning Behind the Daring Raid
Reports from international outlets like the BBC suggest the operation, authorised by the Donald Trump administration, involved extensive preparation. Intelligence gathering and planning spanned months, with a key objective being the neutralisation of Venezuela's integrated air defence network.
The mission successfully targeted and destroyed advanced systems, including:
- Russian-made S-300V missile systems
- Russian Buk-M2 missile systems
- Chinese JY-27A air defence radar systems
The raid involved a significant air presence, with around 150 aircraft participating. The helicopters that moved in for the final capture flew perilously low, just a hundred feet above the terrain, to avoid detection and deliver the special forces team directly to Maduro's location at the Wall Street heliport.
This witness testimony provides a raw and terrifying glimpse into the future of warfare, where advanced sonic technology and overwhelming precision can decisively end a confrontation before traditional forces can even react.
