Yasin Tadvi, in-charge at the Regional Disaster Management Cell, stated that CCTV footage showed Shinalkar heading towards the creek around noon on Wednesday. Later, his family found his footwear along the banks of the creek. A search operation was launched on Thursday, involving local fishermen, but it was suspended late Friday night. Despite extensive efforts, the man could not be traced, leading authorities to suspect that he drowned.
