For the past two to three days, Koppal district has been witnessing an unusual meteorological phenomenon: morning fog or smog during the summer season. This occurrence is rare for the region at this time of year and has sparked significant concern among local residents and netizens.

Activist Manjunath Gondbal, who has been opposing factory operations in the area, voiced strong suspicions about the origin of the fog.
