A large number of people, including those with disabilities, participated in the Samavesh Run event held in Lucknow on Sunday. The run commenced from the hospital's Gate No. 2, proceeded to Lohiya Chauraha, and returned to the campus.
Multiple categories were available: 10 km, 5 km, 2 km, and 1 km, allowing individuals of all fitness levels and abilities to take part. Organiser Surabhi stated that the objective was to encourage society to move beyond sympathy and ensure equal participation for disabled people. She emphasized that inclusion should be a part of daily life, not limited to special events.
The run was flagged off by doctors from Max Hospital, including Dr. Walliulah Siddiqui and Dr. Rahul Yadav. It was organized by Ridaan Array and the Sukanya Ram Saxena Foundation in association with Max Super Speciality Hospital, with the aim of raising awareness about the inclusion of specially abled persons in everyday life.
