The Aeronautical Society of India (ASI) is preparing to host a significant national conference titled 'Changing Scenario in Aerospace: R&D, Manufacturing and Certification' at the Engineering Staff College of India in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. This major event is scheduled for April 17 and 18, 2026, and will coincide with the society's 74th annual general body meeting.

ISRO chairman Dr V Narayanan will deliver the prestigious Prof Satish Dhawan Memorial Lecture on the second day of the event. Telangana's IT and industries minister D Sridhar Babu will serve as the chief guest for the event. Additionally, former DRDO chief Dr G Satheesh Reddy and former ISRO chairman Dr S Somanath will participate in the conclave, adding significant expertise to the discussions.
