Hisense Unveils RGB MiniLED TV & Laser Projector at CES 2026, Eyes Indian Market
Hisense CES 2026: RGB MiniLED TV, Laser Projector Launched

Chinese electronics giant Hisense has taken centre stage at the CES 2026 tech expo in Las Vegas, unveiling a suite of advanced display and smart home technologies under the banner "Innovating a Brighter Life." The showcase highlights the company's push into next-generation visual experiences, with a clear focus on the rapidly evolving Indian market.

Flagship Displays Steal the Show

The star of the Hisense booth was undoubtedly the 116UXS RGB MiniLED TV. This behemoth is powered by what Hisense calls RGB MiniLED evo, a significant system-level upgrade. For the first time, the technology integrates a fourth LED colour – Sky Blue–Cyan – into the backlight system. This innovation promises a dramatic leap in colour performance.

The company claims the TV offers 134-bit colour control and covers an impressive 110% of the BT.2020 colour gamut, targeting professional-grade accuracy. Notably, it also reduces harmful blue light emissions by up to 80%, a feature aimed at eye comfort during long viewing sessions.

For consumers seeking flagship performance in more mainstream sizes, Hisense introduced the UR8 and UR9 TV lineups. These models bring the advanced RGB MiniLED picture quality to screens ranging from 55 inches to a massive 100 inches.

Global Launch for Home Cinema Enthusiasts

Addressing the growing demand for premium home theatre setups, Hisense announced the global launch of the XR10 Laser Projector. Leveraging TriChroma laser technology, the projector is capable of delivering a bright 6,000 ANSI lumens and can create immersive projections as large as 300 inches.

Beyond displays, the company also presented its Hisense Elite Collection, specially curated for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026. The collection received recognition from a delegation led by FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

Strategic Focus on the Indian Market

Pankaj Rana, CEO of Hisense India, directly connected the global unveilings to the company's strategy in India. He noted that the Indian market is experiencing a swift transition towards larger screens, smarter appliances, and more interconnected home ecosystems.

"As the Origin of RGB-MiniLED, Hisense was the first company to introduce this technology and continues to lead the evolution of large-screen displays with its system-level innovations," Rana stated. He emphasised that the innovations displayed at CES 2026 underscore the brand's dedication to introducing globally advanced, human-centric technologies to Indian consumers in the near future.

Adding to its CES accolades, Hisense walked away with four CES Innovation Awards. The 163 MX and the X-zone Master were particularly honoured, each receiving the prestigious CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award in the display and home appliance categories, respectively.
