Hero MotoCorp has officially patented the design of its upcoming electric motorcycle, the Vida VXZ, in India. This move signals that the company is moving closer to production with its first-ever electric motorcycle. The Vida VXZ was initially showcased as a concept model at the EICMA 2025 event. Industry observers now expect the bike to hit the market sometime later this year or possibly in 2027.

Vida VXZ: A Unique Electric Motorcycle

The Vida VXZ represents a significant step for Hero MotoCorp into the electric two-wheeler segment. The company developed this motorcycle in collaboration with its EV division, Vida, and the American electric motorcycle maker Zero Motorcycles. Despite this partnership, the VXZ does not resemble any existing Zero model. Instead, it boasts a completely unique and fresh design.

Design Highlights

The Vida VXZ electric motorcycle features a distinctive streetfighter styling. This ground-up electric vehicle comes with a sharp LED headlamp, muscular body panels, split seats, and a slender tail section. These elements combine to give the bike a very appealing and modern look.

A centrally mounted battery pack is a key design feature, which should provide better control and balance. The motorcycle will be built on a tubular trellis chassis. It also includes sharp and sculpted semi-fairing to improve aerodynamic efficiency and enhance its visual appeal.
