RLDA Site Engineer Recruitment 2026: 40 Vacancies Announced
The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has released a recruitment notification for the position of Site Engineer, with a total of 40 vacancies to be filled on a contract basis. These vacancies are distributed across two disciplines: 30 positions in Civil Engineering and 10 in Electrical Engineering. Selected candidates will be deployed at various locations across India.

Vacancy Details and Eligibility Criteria
The recruitment drive aims to fill Site Engineer roles in Civil and Electrical streams. Applicants must possess a B.E. or B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates). Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in fields such as construction, development, electrical systems, or MEP works.
The upper age limit for applicants is 45 years as of May 22, 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories, including SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwD, and ex-servicemen, as per Government of India norms.
Salary and Selection Process
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs 76,000. The selection process involves a merit-based assessment followed by an interview and document verification.
Merit evaluation will consider factors such as last drawn gross salary, relevant work experience, and academic performance in B.Tech. Candidates holding an M.Tech degree or having experience in Indian Railways, central or state public sector undertakings, or government departments will be given additional weightage.
