Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi Watch 6, the latest addition to its affordable smartwatch lineup. The device brings a premium 2.5D AMOLED display, extended battery life of up to 12 days, and a host of health and fitness features.
Display and Design
The Redmi Watch 6 features a 1.62-inch AMOLED screen with 2.5D curved glass, offering a resolution of 320x360 pixels. The display supports Always-On mode and has a peak brightness of 600 nits, ensuring good visibility outdoors. The watch comes with a metallic frame and interchangeable silicone straps in multiple colors.
Battery and Charging
One of the standout features is the 12-day battery life under typical usage, which can extend up to 20 days in battery saver mode. The watch supports magnetic charging and takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge.
Health and Fitness Features
The Redmi Watch 6 includes a heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitor, sleep tracker, and stress level measurement. It offers over 100 sports modes, including running, cycling, swimming, and yoga. The watch is 5ATM water-resistant, making it suitable for swimming.
Connectivity and Software
It runs on a proprietary OS and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices via the Xiaomi Wear app. Features include Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, music control, weather updates, and notifications. The watch also supports voice assistant integration.
Price and Availability
The Redmi Watch 6 is priced at approximately $80 (around Rs 6,500 in India). It will be available in India and other markets starting June 2026. Color options include Black, Blue, and Pink.
