Noise Launches ALT Design-First Wearables and Audio Line with Pre-Bookings Open
Noise Launches ALT Design-First Wearables and Audio Line

Noise has unveiled its new line of wearables and audio devices under the brand ALT, a design-first series aimed at consumers who prioritize aesthetics as much as functionality. Pre-bookings are now open across gonoise.com, Amazon, and Flipkart, with the ALT Watch 1 and two open-ear audio products leading the initial rollout.

What ALT Stands For

The name ALT is an acronym for "Alternative to Autopilot," reflecting Noise's strategy to target younger buyers who view gadgets as style statements rather than default purchases. Co-founder Amit Khatri highlighted the rising average selling prices in the category, noting that consumers now seek design and meaning, not just technical specifications. Every ALT product shares a cohesive design language characterized by clean lines, balanced proportions, and expressive colorways.

ALT Watch 1: Red Dot-Winning Round Dial with Built-in GPS

The ALT Watch 1 leads the wearable lineup. It features a round smartwatch design with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display that reaches a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, an aluminum frame, and a functional rotating crown. Noise has integrated its proprietary AI capabilities, including voice commands, transcription services, health insights, and a watch-face generator called AI Playground. The watch includes built-in GPS, heart rate monitoring, stress tracking, SpO2 measurement, sleep analysis, and menstrual health tracking. It supports popular fitness platforms such as Strava, Google Fit, and Apple Health. Battery life is rated at up to 14 days, and the design has earned a Red Dot Design Award 2026.

ALT Buds Open: Open-Ear Fit for Unobstructed Awareness

The ALT Buds Open headline the audio range and have also received a Red Dot Design Award 2026. These open-ear earbuds feature a liquid silicone hook and flexible memory wire that rest on the ear without sealing it, allowing ambient sound to pass through. They support Hi-Res Audio via the LHDC codec, deliver up to 35 hours of playback, include quad-mic calling, and offer dual-device pairing. A quick 10-minute charge provides approximately 200 minutes of listening time.

ALT Clip: Lightweight Clip-On for Active Lifestyles

For those seeking a more compact option, the ALT Clip is a clip-on open-wearable device equipped with dual magnetic drivers and the same LHDC Hi-Res support. It provides up to 28 hours of battery life, pairs simultaneously with two devices, and supports fast charging—10 minutes yields four hours of playback.

ALT Buds and Buds (S): In-Ear Options Coming Later

Two in-ear models are scheduled for later release. The ALT Buds offer 35dB active noise cancellation, Spatial Audio, Bluetooth 6.0, quad microphones, and up to 45 hours of battery life. The ALT Buds (S) serve as the entry-level option, retaining the 45-hour battery rating, Bluetooth 6.0, and an 11mm driver at a lower price point.

Pricing and Availability

The ALT Watch 1 is priced at Rs 5,999, while both the ALT Buds Open and ALT Clip are listed at Rs 4,499. Pre-book customers can avail a discount: Rs 4,999 for the watch and Rs 3,999 each for the open-ear earbuds and the clip. These three products are available in six colorways and will go on sale from June 16. The ALT Buds and Buds (S) will be launched at a later date.
