The School of Law at Mahindra University has inaugurated the International Arbitration Confluence 2026, a significant event aimed at advancing the field of international arbitration. The confluence featured the unveiling of a new campus-based arbitration centre, which is expected to serve as a hub for research, training, and practice in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
Key Highlights of the Event
During the inauguration, Mahindra University also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur. This collaboration aims to foster academic exchange, joint research initiatives, and capacity-building programs in arbitration and legal education.
Arbitration Centre on Campus
The newly established arbitration centre on the Mahindra University campus will provide state-of-the-art facilities for moot court competitions, mediation sessions, and arbitration hearings. It is designed to offer students and practitioners a real-world environment to hone their skills in dispute resolution.
Speaking at the event, the Dean of the School of Law emphasized the growing importance of international arbitration in the global legal landscape. The confluence brought together legal experts, academicians, and industry professionals to discuss emerging trends and challenges in arbitration.
