The Haj Committee of India has extended the deadline for submitting applications to the Haj House Residential Coaching Institute (HHRCI) for the academic year 2026-27. According to a notification issued on June 10, candidates can now register online until June 19, 2026.
Extension Details
This extension supersedes an earlier notification from May 30. Applicants are advised to complete the online application process and pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs 100 via the official portal.
About HHRCI
HHRCI, operated by the Haj Committee of India under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, provides free residential coaching with hostel facilities for candidates preparing for the Civil Services Examination 2027. The program is open to Muslim minority candidates and other minorities, including SC, ST, and OBC applicants who meet eligibility criteria.
Seat Reservation
The institute has 100 seats. Of these, 80% are reserved for Muslim minority candidates, and the remaining 20% for other minorities, including SC, ST, and OBC candidates. Hostel accommodation is mandatory for all selected students.
Entrance Test on June 28
The entrance examination is tentatively scheduled for June 28, 2026. It will comprise three papers: General Studies, CSAT, and Essay with General Studies.
The written exam result is expected on July 10, followed by personality tests from July 20 onwards. The final result is tentatively scheduled for July 25.
The entrance test will be conducted at 20 centers across India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Patna, Jaipur, Lucknow, Srinagar, and Bhopal.
