Apple has just rolled out a new subscription service that makes its professional creative software much more accessible. The company announced Creator Studio, a monthly plan that bundles six high-end applications for video editing, music production, and image design into one convenient package.
Pricing and Availability Details
Creator Studio goes live on January 28 with straightforward pricing options. Users can subscribe for Rs 399 per month or opt for the annual plan at Rs 3,999. Students and educators receive a significant discount, paying just Rs 199 monthly for the same comprehensive suite of tools.
What's Included in the Bundle?
The subscription package includes several powerful applications available across both Mac and iPad platforms. All subscribers get access to Final Cut Pro for video editing, Logic Pro for music production, and Pixelmator Pro for image design. Mac users receive additional applications including Motion, Compressor, and MainStage as part of their subscription.
The bundle also comes with premium content for Keynote, Pages, and Numbers applications. Apple has included artificial intelligence tools that operate directly on the device, ensuring privacy and performance without requiring cloud connectivity.
Pixelmator Pro Makes Its iPad Debut
One of the most significant announcements involves Pixelmator Pro finally arriving on iPad devices. Apple acquired this popular image editing software in late 2024, and this marks the first major integration since that purchase. The iPad version has been completely rebuilt from the ground up with touch controls and full Apple Pencil support integrated throughout the application.
Final Cut Pro Gets Smart New Features
Final Cut Pro receives several genuinely useful enhancements in this release. The new Transcript Search feature allows editors to type any phrase and immediately jump to that exact moment in their footage, eliminating the tedious process of manually scrubbing through hours of interview recordings.
Visual Search performs similar functions but focuses on objects within video content. Need to find every shot containing a red car? Simply describe what you're looking for, and the software will locate all relevant clips automatically.
Beat Detection represents another time-saving innovation. This feature automatically maps song structure onto your editing timeline, making music video edits far less labor-intensive and more intuitive.
Logic Pro Introduces AI Synth Player
Music creators gain access to Synth Player, an artificial intelligence tool that generates electronic keyboard and bass parts dynamically. The system listens to your chord progressions and adapts its output in real time, creating complementary musical elements automatically.
Chord ID provides another valuable function for musicians. Record any melody, and the software will transcribe the underlying chords for you, streamlining the composition process significantly.
Standalone Purchase Options Remain Available
For users who prefer owning their software outright, standalone purchase options continue to be available on Mac platforms. Final Cut Pro costs Rs 29,900 as a one-time purchase, while Logic Pro is priced at Rs 19,900. New Mac and iPad buyers receive an additional benefit—three months of Creator Studio subscription completely free with their device purchase.
