CM Yogi Adityanath Takes Firm Stand Against Land Encroachments in Gorakhpur

In a decisive move, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued a stern warning to officials on Wednesday, directing them to act swiftly against illegal land encroachments and ensure that strongmen and land mafia are dealt with firmly. The Chief Minister emphasized that anyone found usurping another's property would face stringent legal action, and no offender would be spared under his administration.

Addressing Public Grievances at Janata Darshan

Addressing the people's grievances during the weekly janata darshan held at the Gorakhnath temple, CM Yogi Adityanath reiterated the state government's commitment to delivering justice and prosperity to every citizen. He stated, "Those who occupy land illegally or harass the weak must be taught a lesson," stressing a zero-tolerance policy towards encroachment. The Chief Minister personally interacted with around 150 complainants at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, listening to their problems one by one with utmost attention.

Directives for Prompt Redressal and Justice

CM Yogi Adityanath forwarded applications to concerned officials with clear instructions for prompt and satisfactory redressal, assuring people that injustice would not be allowed during his tenure. Taking serious note of complaints related to land disputes, he directed administrative and police officers to ensure the complete removal of encroachments. He warned that no strongman should dare to grab another's land, highlighting the government's resolve to protect property rights.

Focus on Family Disputes and Medical Aid

On family and matrimonial disputes raised by several women during the session, the Chief Minister asked officials to prioritize dialogue and counselling, while ensuring legal action if required. This approach aims to resolve conflicts amicably while upholding the law. Additionally, people seeking financial aid for medical treatment were assured full support, with instructions to expedite estimates so that funds could be transferred directly to hospitals, ensuring timely healthcare access.

Engagement with Community and Temple Activities

Earlier in the day, CM Yogi Adityanath visited the temple gaushala, where he affectionately interacted with cows, calling them by name and feeding them jaggery and rotis. This gesture underscored his connection with local traditions and animal welfare. He also interacted with children visiting the temple, distributed chocolates, and performed annaprashan ceremonies for two toddlers, showcasing his engagement with community events and cultural practices.
