CM Yogi Adityanath Vows Action Against Land Mafia, Hears Public Grievances in Gorakhpur
Yogi Adityanath Orders Crackdown on Land Mafia in Gorakhpur

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued a stern warning to land mafias and strongmen involved in illegal encroachment during a public hearing in Gorakhpur on Monday. He declared that those who displace the poor will face severe legal consequences and will not be spared.

Janata Darshan: A Platform for Public Redressal

The Chief Minister made these strong remarks while conducting a Janata Darshan at the Gorakhnath Temple. During this event, he personally listened to the problems of approximately 150 people who had gathered to seek his intervention. Moving patiently among the complainants seated in the hall, CM Yogi interacted with each individual, demonstrating empathy and a commitment to address their concerns.

He handed over their applications to concerned officials with clear and direct instructions. The CM emphasized the need for prompt, transparent, and sensitive resolution of all public complaints. He stressed accountability, directing the administration to ensure that grievances are resolved within a strict timeframe and with quality outcomes.

Specific Directives for Dispute Resolution

To tackle the core issues raised by the public, Yogi Adityanath gave specific orders to his team. In cases related to land disputes, he instructed officials to conduct proper and accurate land measurements to facilitate fair settlements. For family disputes, the Chief Minister advocated for dialogue, asking officials to mediate between parties to reach amicable solutions without unnecessary legal battles.

Showing compassion towards healthcare needs, the CM assured several individuals seeking financial aid for medical treatment that a lack of funds would not be a barrier. He directed officials to quickly prepare hospital cost estimates and forward the proposals to the government. He promised that adequate help would be provided from the Chief Minister's Discretionary Fund to support these critical cases.

Spiritual Ritual for State's Prosperity

Earlier on Monday morning, before the public interaction, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed a Rudrabhishek puja at the temple. He offered prayers to Lord Shiva, seeking peace, prosperity, and well-being for all citizens of Uttar Pradesh. The sacred ritual, which involved offerings of bilva leaves, lotus flowers, and other traditional materials, concluded with a havan accompanied by Vedic chants.

This spiritual observance follows a similar ritual performed by the CM, who is also the Gorakshpeethadhishwar, at the Shakti Peeth in his residence the previous Monday. These acts underscore the blend of governance and spiritual tradition that marks his administration's approach.

The Janata Darshan in Gorakhpur has reinforced the state government's focus on direct public connection and assertive action against powerful illegal elements, particularly those exploiting land and the vulnerable sections of society.
