Voters may carry water bottles, basic essentials, and necessary items for elderly or differently-abled voters. However, sharp objects, lighters, flammable items, and mobile phones are strictly prohibited within polling booths.

Enhanced Security and Monitoring Measures

To ensure electoral integrity, the Election Commission has implemented robust security measures. CCTV cameras have been installed at all 44,378 polling booths designated for the first phase. The commission has issued a stern warning that repolling may be ordered if cameras malfunction during voting hours, emphasizing the commitment to transparent elections.
