This interruption is scheduled for April 9 and is necessitated by urgent pipeline repair works aimed at enhancing long-term water infrastructure.

According to VMC officials, the repair will focus on a 250 mm diameter ductile iron (DI) distribution pipeline located at Arul Nagar. This critical maintenance activity will impact water supply during both the morning and evening sessions on Thursday, April 9.
The disruption is expected to affect residents in the following hilltop areas, all situated within the Circle-3, Division-5 limits of Vijayawada:
- Arul Nagar hill area
- Vijaya Nagar Colony hill area
- Pedda Bavi Center hill area
- Christurajapuram hill area
