As the Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh completed nine years in office, Minister Swatantra Dev Singh declared on Friday that the state has established a groundbreaking new standard for development, public trust, and effective governance. Speaking in Prayagraj, the minister emphasized that Uttar Pradesh is rapidly evolving into a model of progress and security.
Improved Law and Order and Women's Safety
Minister Singh asserted that law and order has been significantly strengthened across the entire state, with particular improvements noted in Prayagraj. He highlighted that daughters and women are now moving forward with renewed confidence and a greater sense of security. This enhanced safety environment is a cornerstone of the state's overall transformation, fostering a more inclusive and progressive society.
Infrastructure and Economic Advancements
The minister detailed Uttar Pradesh's rapid progress in service delivery, security measures, and investment opportunities. The state boasts an extensive expressway network, efficient governance systems, and top rankings in ease of doing business. Over the past nine years, both the condition and the trajectory of Uttar Pradesh have undergone a complete and remarkable transformation, according to Singh.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, an atmosphere of peace has been firmly established throughout the state, successfully making Uttar Pradesh a riot-free region. Minister Singh emphasized that, under the double engine government, comprehensive and all-round development has taken place across Uttar Pradesh. The development of four-lane and six-lane roads, bridges, and Road Over Bridges (ROBs) connecting Prayagraj to key districts like Kashi, Mathura, and Chitrakoot has provided immense relief from traffic congestion. This infrastructure upgrade has facilitated smoother and easier travel for the common citizen, enhancing connectivity and economic opportunities.
Major Infrastructure Projects Nearing Completion
Moreover, the construction work on the Ganga Expressway, which connects Prayagraj to Meerut, as well as the Ram Van Gaman Marg, is nearing completion. These projects are set to further boost transportation efficiency and regional integration, contributing to the state's economic growth and development goals.
