Tragedy Strikes YSRCP Bike Rally in Vijayawada as Two Supporters Die

In a heartbreaking turn of events, two ardent supporters of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) lost their lives during a high-energy bike rally organized to welcome party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's visit to Ibrahimpatnam in Vijayawada on Friday. The incidents, which occurred separately, have cast a shadow over the political gathering, highlighting the dangers of risky stunts during such events.

Fatal Accident Claims Life of Teenage Fan

The first victim, identified as Bhargav, was a 17-year-old lorry cleaner and resident of Kondapalli. According to the Ibrahimpatnam police, Bhargav was performing a dangerous bike stunt when he lost control of his motorcycle near the Ibrahimpatnam junction around 3 pm. The vehicle collided with a road barrier, resulting in grievous injuries that proved fatal on the spot. Authorities noted that Bhargav was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, which likely exacerbated the severity of his injuries. His body was subsequently transported to Vijayawada Government General Hospital (GGH) for a post-mortem examination.

Second Death Due to Heart Stroke

In a separate and equally tragic incident, D Ram Babu, the YSRCP Chillakallu village president, passed away after suffering a heart stroke. He was on his way to the residence of a YSRCP leader in Ibrahimpatnam when the medical emergency occurred. Police reports indicate that Ram Babu was rushed to a hospital in Gollapudi, but doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival. This sudden loss has added to the somber mood following the rally.

Police Investigation and Community Impact

The Ibrahimpatnam police are actively investigating both cases to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths. The bike rally, part of the festivities for YS Jagan's visit, was intended to showcase party enthusiasm but has instead raised concerns about safety protocols at political events. Local residents and party members are mourning the loss of these two individuals, whose deaths serve as a stark reminder of the risks associated with reckless behavior during rallies.
