The accident took place around 6 pm in Nagla Jaili village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Sikandarpur Vaish police station. According to police reports, the tragedy unfolded when the tractor's bumper suddenly broke, causing the attached trolley to lose control and overturn violently. This mechanical failure led to immediate chaos and severe consequences for those aboard.
Victims and Their Heartbreaking Circumstances
The three deceased individuals have been identified as Maharaj Singh, aged 60, Mukesh, 50, and Rajendra. They were returning from a nearby village where they had gone to offer condolences following the death of a relative. All three victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the accident, leaving their families and the community in mourning.
The injured parties include Vineeta, 45, Sunita, 35, and Bijendra, 50. They suffered serious head and leg injuries in the overturn. After receiving primary treatment at a local medical facility, their condition remained critical, necessitating referral to a higher medical centre for advanced care and monitoring.

The bodies of the deceased were sent for post-mortem examination after completing all necessary formalities. Kasganj Police provided a statement detailing their actions: "Following the accident, officials reached the scene and sent the injured to hospital for treatment. After preparing the panchayatnama of the deceased, the bodies were sent to the mortuary for post-mortem examination. Necessary legal proceedings are being carried out at the police station level."
