Telangana Deputy CM Launches Scathing Attack on Kerala's Ruling Left

In a series of street-corner meetings held in Pathanamthitta and other regions on Saturday, Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Bhatti Vikramarka, intensified his criticism of Kerala's ruling dispensation. He highlighted alleged irregularities at the Sabarimala temple, rising unemployment rates, and the growing trend of youth migration from the state. Vikramarka asserted that Kerala is drifting away from its long-held secular values, accusing the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) of abandoning communist ideals.

Allegations of Governance Decline and Neglect

Bhatti Vikramarka claimed that the LDF has failed to deliver on its previous electoral promises, leading to a decline in governance standards. He alleged that 'goondaism' has replaced the core principles of the communist ideology, resulting in a lack of transparent administration. Furthermore, he pointed out that senior citizens in Kerala are being neglected without adequate support systems, exacerbating social issues.

Telangana Presented as a Model of Effective Governance

Projecting Telangana as a benchmark for successful governance, Vikramarka detailed several key initiatives implemented within just two years. He invited critics to verify these achievements on the ground, listing prominent welfare measures:

Welfare Promises for Kerala Under a Potential UDF Government

Urging voters to support the United Democratic Front (UDF) in the upcoming elections, Bhatti Vikramarka outlined a comprehensive welfare agenda. He promised transformative changes, including:

  1. Monthly assistance of ₹1,000 for women students to promote education
  2. Interest-free loans for youth to encourage entrepreneurship and reduce unemployment
  3. Enhanced pension schemes for the elderly to ensure financial security
  4. Establishment of a dedicated ministry for senior citizens to address their specific needs

By contrasting Kerala's current challenges with Telangana's achievements, Vikramarka positioned the UDF as a viable alternative for restoring governance integrity and fostering inclusive growth in the state.
