He delivers a cryptic message in the video, saying: "Guru, zindagi say thodi wafa kijiyae, jo nahi mila usay dafa kijiyae, har koi nahi hai aapkay qabil, akalay baith kar chai ka maza leejiyae (Guru, be a little loyal to life, let go of what you didn't get, not everyone is worthy of you, sit alone and enjoy your cup of tea)." This post has been widely interpreted as a veiled expression of his disappointment at being sidelined by the party leadership.
The Congress Meeting That Excluded Sidhu
The video emerged just two days after a significant meeting held by the Congress high command in Delhi. The meeting included All India Congress Committee (AICC) chief Mallikarjun Kharge, leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi, Congress general secretary K C Venugopal, and general secretary in charge of Punjab, Bhupesh Baghel.
They met with prominent Punjab Congress leaders such as Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, Charanjit Singh Channi, Partap Singh Bajwa, and Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa at Kharge's residence. The agenda focused on reviewing the political situation in Punjab, particularly in light of Channi's remarks about "Dalits being ignored" and ongoing reports of factionalism within the party, especially with the 2027 Punjab assembly elections on the horizon.
Sidhu's Reaction and Internal Discontent
Sources close to Sidhu reveal that he was hopeful of receiving an outreach from the Congress leadership, but the invitation never materialized, leaving him heartbroken. It is learnt that he engaged in lengthy phone conversations with his supporters before deciding to publicly air his disappointment.

She has also openly expressed admiration for Union Home Minister Amit Shah, signaling a growing proximity to the BJP.
