Hyderabad's Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy, is set for a crucial diplomatic mission to the national capital. His primary objective is to extend personal invitations to the country's top leadership for the upcoming Telangana Rising Global Summit.

Delhi Visit: A High-Profile Invitation Drive

The Chief Minister will depart from Hyderabad on Tuesday night following his official engagements. His itinerary in New Delhi on Wednesday is packed, with a focus on meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister's Office (CMO) has formally requested an appointment with the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), and the meeting will proceed based on the time slot granted.

Given that the winter session of Parliament is currently underway, most Union ministers are present in Delhi. Revanth Reddy plans to utilize this opportunity to invite them as well. The invitation list also includes All India Congress Committee (AICC) leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi. After completing his invitation rounds, the CM is expected to return to Hyderabad on the same day.

Balancing State Celebrations and Summit Preparations

Before his Delhi trip, the Chief Minister will be actively participating in the celebrations marking two years of the Congress government in Telangana. On Tuesday, he will attend the second-day festivities and address a public meeting in Kothagudem, Khammam district.

Further, as part of the ongoing anniversary events, he is scheduled to address another public gathering in Husnabad, Karimnagar district, on December 3. Meanwhile, preparations for the global summit are in full swing. On Monday, CM Reddy inspected the dedicated war room being established at Praja Bhavan for the summit. This operational nerve centre is being set up with expert support from the Indian School of Business (ISB) and Niti Aayog.

Focus on the Telangana Rising Global Summit

The entire purpose of the Delhi visit revolves around the Telangana Rising Global Summit, a significant event aimed at showcasing the state's potential on the world stage. The summit is scheduled to be held on December 8 and 9 at the Future City in Hyderabad. By personally delivering the invitations, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy underscores the importance his administration places on this global gathering and its desire for high-level participation to ensure its success.
