During the review, CEO K Ravi Kumar meticulously inspected polling station numbers 60, 61, 62, 63, and 64, all located in Bijuliya village under the Ratu Block. He stressed the need for accurate identification of voters residing in each house and their head of household within the BLO registers. Additionally, he directed that notional numbers be assigned to houses lacking existing house numbers. This measure is designed to facilitate families living in the same house or belonging to the same household to vote at a single polling station, thereby enhancing convenience and reducing confusion during election day.
CEO's Directives for Improved Voter Accessibility
In his statements, CEO K Ravi Kumar issued clear directives to all BLOs, mandating that they affix stickers containing their contact information on houses within their assigned areas. "All BLOs must affix stickers containing their information on houses located within their area, so that people can easily contact them for any information related to the electoral roll," Kumar asserted. This initiative is expected to improve voter accessibility, allowing citizens to seek clarifications or updates on electoral matters directly from their local BLOs, thus fostering greater engagement and trust in the electoral process.
