Rajasthan Public Service Commission Announces Final RAS 2024 Examination Results
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) officially declared the final results for the Rajasthan Administrative and Allied Services Examination-2024 on Saturday. This announcement came just one day after the commission concluded its interview process, marking a swift conclusion to this significant recruitment drive.
Border Districts Secure Top Positions in Merit List
In a notable development, candidates hailing from Rajasthan's border districts dominated the top ranks. The commission released the complete merit list, highlighting the top 20 successful candidates in order of their performance.
Dinesh Vishnoi from Barmer district claimed the prestigious first position, demonstrating exceptional performance. Following closely behind was Virendra Charan from Jaisalmer district at second rank, while Navneet Mukesh Kumar Sharma from Bhilwara district secured the third position.
Detailed Profiles of Top Rank Holders
Dinesh Vishnoi, a resident of Bhalisar village in Barmer's Dhorimanna area, has previously demonstrated his capabilities by securing an RPS cadre position in 2023. He is currently undergoing training in Jaipur. His father, Ramdhan Manju, served as a district education officer before retirement.
Virendra Charan originates from Rampuriya village in the Pokhran constituency of Jaisalmer district. His father serves as a head constable with the Rajasthan Police, currently posted at Tanot. Charan had previously been selected for the tehsildar position and is presently undergoing training for that role.
Navneet Sharma, a 24-year-old candidate from Barathiya village in Bhilwara's Gulabpura subdivision, achieved his impressive third rank through dedicated self-study. He had secured the 87th position in the previous examination and is currently undergoing tehsildar training.
Women Candidates Make Their Mark
The results showcased significant representation from women candidates, with four female candidates featuring among the top 20 successful applicants:
- Aishwariya Kanwar from Bikaner secured the 6th rank
- Shallu from Anoopgarh claimed the 8th position
- Tanisha Yadav from Jaipur ranked 19th
- Vrinda Shekhawat from Jaipur secured the 20th position
Recruitment Statistics and Commission Statement
RPSC Secretary Ramniwas Mehta provided comprehensive details about the recruitment process. The commission conducted this recruitment drive to fill 1,096 vacant positions, which included:
- 428 positions in the Rajasthan Administrative Service
- 668 positions in various allied services
From the total of 2,461 candidates who appeared for interviews, 2,391 candidates successfully made it to the final merit list, reflecting a highly competitive selection process.
