Rajasthan Opens 1,100 Agriculture Supervisor Posts for 2026

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has officially launched a major recruitment drive for the position of Agriculture Supervisor. A total of 1,100 vacancies have been announced for the 2026 cycle, offering a significant opportunity for job seekers in the state's agricultural sector.

Key Dates and Application Process

The board released the official notification on January 6, 2026. The online application window will open on January 13, 2026, and remain active until February 11, 2026. Candidates must submit their forms exclusively through the official portals: recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in and sso.rajasthan.gov.in.

It is crucial to note that the application link will be disabled after February 5, 2026, at 23:59 hours. Applicants who have not paid the One Time Registration (OTR) fee must complete this step before proceeding with the application.

Eligibility Criteria and Selection Procedure

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture or Horticulture. Interestingly, individuals who have passed the 12th standard with Agriculture as a subject are also eligible to apply, broadening the potential candidate pool.

Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2027. Relaxations will apply as per government norms.

Selection Process: The selection will be based on a multi-stage process including a written examination, document verification, and a medical test. The written test for female Supervisor posts is tentatively scheduled for June 18, 2026, and will be conducted offline using OMR sheets. RSSB retains the right to hold the exam in multiple phases, in which case a normalization process will be used.

Application Fees and Important Disqualifications

The application fee structure is as follows:

  • General, OBC, and EWS category candidates: Rs 600
  • SC, ST, Female, PH, and PWD candidates: Rs 400

Payment can be made online via Net Banking, ATM/Debit/Credit cards, e-Mitra Kiosk, or CSC centers.

The notification outlines specific disqualification clauses that applicants must review carefully. These include provisions for married women applicants and a rule concerning the number of children. Applicants with more than two children as of June 1, 2002, may face disqualification. Furthermore, candidates already in government service must submit a No Objection Certificate from their current employer.

Admit Card and Final Steps

Admit cards for the written examination will be issued online through the candidate's SSO login and the recruitment portal. Aspirants are advised to safely note down their application number and SSO ID, as these will be required to download the hall ticket.

This recruitment drive, with 944 posts under NTSP and 156 under TSP, is a crucial initiative for strengthening Rajasthan's agricultural extension services. Eligible and interested candidates are urged to read the full notification thoroughly and ensure their applications are complete and submitted well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
