PM Modi Kicks Off Kerala Election Campaign with Rally in Kochi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the campaign for the upcoming Kerala elections on Wednesday, addressing a massive public gathering in Kochi's Ernakulam. He declared that the people of Kerala are now prepared to move beyond the long-standing political dominance of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the United Democratic Front (UDF).

In his speech, PM Modi emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party's recent electoral successes in Kerala signal a broader political transformation. "I am pleased that the people of Kerala have now decided to break free from the vicious circle of the LDF and UDF. This confidence is clearly evident in this massive gathering," the Prime Minister stated, highlighting the enthusiastic turnout at the rally.

PM Modi also took a jab at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, remarking that the "Congress 'prince' does not know youth and many companies in India, Kerala are into drone manufacturing." This comment underscored his focus on youth engagement and local industrial growth, positioning the BJP as a party in tune with modern economic trends.
Additionally, he celebrated the official recognition of the state as "Keralam," noting it as a tribute to the Malayalam language's heritage. "It was your heartfelt call for Kerala to be known as Keralam. I am proud that now the entire country and the world are calling this great state Keralam. I am also proud that this historic work has been accomplished by the BJP-NDA government," he affirmed.
Urging Voters to Embrace Change and Offer NDA a Chance
The Prime Minister made a direct appeal to Kerala's electorate, urging them to disrupt the traditional pattern of governments alternating between the LDF and UDF. He called for giving the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) an opportunity to govern for the next five years.
"It is important to break the LDF-UDF pattern of government and give the BJP-led NDA a chance to serve you for the next five years. You have Modi's guarantee," PM Modi asserted, reinforcing his commitment to delivering on promises if elected.
