Additionally, he inaugurated 30 other completed schemes worth Rs33 crore through remote control activation.

Focus on Ease of Living Programme

In his address, CM Nitish Kumar placed special emphasis on the effective implementation of the government's ease of living (EoL) programme. He directed officials at all administrative levels to ensure that solutions are promptly found for public grievances and problems.

The CM explained that under this initiative, officials from state headquarters down to panchayat levels have been instructed to hold regular meetings every Monday and Friday with citizens who bring forward their concerns. This systematic approach aims to create a more responsive and accountable governance structure.

Financial Support and Social Welfare Initiatives

During the event, the Chief Minister personally handed over a cheque worth Rs311.79 crore for bank linkage loans benefiting 23,389 self-help groups (SHGs). This substantial financial support is expected to boost local entrepreneurship and economic self-reliance among women's groups.

Other significant distributions included subsidy cheques as incentives for intercaste marriages and keys to beneficiaries of battery-operated tricycles, demonstrating the government's commitment to social inclusion and welfare.

Infrastructure Development and Inspection

Earlier in the day, CM Nitish Kumar conducted inspections of several key infrastructure projects in the region. He visited the interstate bus stand under construction near Delhi Mor, where officials informed him that the project would be completed within the next two years.

The Chief Minister also examined the progress of the Darbhanga-Amas road project, which connects multiple districts and provides crucial connectivity to neighboring states including West Bengal, Jharkhand, and the North Eastern regions.

Additionally, he reviewed the construction of the civil line enclave near Darbhanga airport and inquired about 50 acres of land in Darbhanga Sadar area designated for developing a logistics park and cargo hub.

Reflection on Bihar's Development Journey

In his comprehensive address, CM Nitish Kumar presented a detailed account of Bihar's developmental transformation over the past two decades. He highlighted how the state's focus on major infrastructure development under the Saat Nischay programmes has created a foundation for sustained growth.

The Chief Minister emphasized that alongside infrastructure development, simultaneous efforts have been made toward women's empowerment and welfare through various social sector schemes, creating a more balanced and inclusive development model.
