SAD Leader Bikram Singh Majithia Makes Grand Return to Amritsar Following Bail Grant
In a significant political development, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) functionary Bikram Singh Majithia arrived in Amritsar on Monday evening, marking his return nearly seven months after his arrest in a disproportionate assets case. His release on bail, granted by the Supreme Court on February 2, triggered a massive show of strength by party workers and supporters, culminating in a large-scale roadshow that brought parts of the city to a standstill.
