The Karnataka High Court has issued a landmark order directing a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the acquisition of prime Hebbal land by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB). Despite his repeated appeals to the Chief Minister and Industries Minister to cancel the transfer to the private entity, the state government failed to take any corrective action.
"The court has now exposed blatant wrongdoing in this matter," stated Suresh Kumar, emphasizing that the judicial intervention was necessary due to governmental inaction.
