Hyderabad Teenager Dies After Tragic Fall from Building in Nacharam

A 14-year-old boy tragically lost his life after falling from the third floor of a residential building located in Mallapur, Nacharam, Hyderabad. The incident, which occurred on April 5 at approximately 3 pm, gained public attention only on Tuesday after a video of the fall went viral on social media platforms.

Details of the Incident and Police Investigation

While initial reports speculated that the boy might have been filming a social media reel at the time of the fall, Nacharam Assistant Sub-Inspector B Venkataiah clarified that the teenager, a Class 9 student, fell while playing. The entire incident was captured by a nearby CCTV camera, providing crucial evidence for the investigation.

The boy sustained severe injuries, including multiple rib fractures, brain trauma, and a pelvic fracture. He was first rushed to a private hospital in Secunderabad for emergency treatment. Over the following days, he was transferred to two additional hospitals in a bid to save his life. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to cardiac arrest on the night of April 18.
