Former Congress Leader T Jeevan Reddy Set to Join BRS at Major Jagtial Rally
In a significant political development, former Congress leader T Jeevan Reddy is scheduled to formally join the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on April 20. The induction will take place at a large-scale public meeting organized in Jagtial, where he will be officially welcomed by BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Preparations and High-Level Meetings Underway
Jeevan Reddy has already consented to join the BRS and recently held a crucial meeting with party supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao at the latter's farmhouse. This private discussion solidified the plans for his entry into the party. The BRS is now orchestrating an elaborate public gathering in Jagtial, expected to draw approximately one lakh attendees from neighboring assembly constituencies such as Dharmapuri and Vemulawada.
This event is particularly notable as it will be the first public address by K Chandrasekhar Rao in almost a year. His last major speech was delivered during the BRS plenary session held in Warangal last year, making the Jagtial meeting a highly anticipated return to the public stage.
Strategic Leadership Appointments for Rally Success
To ensure the rally's success, BRS working president KT Rama Rao has appointed specific in-charges for the five constituencies within Jagtial district. The assignments are as follows:
- Palla Rajeshwar Reddy (MLA, Jangaon) – Jagtial assembly constituency
- Vemula Prashant Reddy (MLA, Balkonda) – Korutla constituency
- L Ravinder Rao (MLC) – Dharmapuri constituency
- Balka Suman (ex-MLA) – Vemulawada constituency
- Peddi Sudarshan Reddy (ex-MLA) – Choppadandi assembly segment
Additionally, senior party leaders Gadari Balamallu and Mareddy Srinivas Reddy have been entrusted with overseeing critical aspects of the event, including crowd management, venue arrangements, and overall logistical responsibilities. KT Rama Rao emphasized that these leaders will be actively coordinating all preparations on the ground until the meeting concludes successfully.
Unified Effort to Ensure a Grand Political Spectacle
KT Rama Rao has called upon all party members to work in close coordination to make the Jagtial public meeting a resounding success. The rally not only marks a key political defection but also serves as a strategic platform for the BRS to demonstrate its organizational strength and public appeal ahead of future electoral contests. With meticulous planning and high-level involvement, the party aims to turn this event into a significant political spectacle that reinforces its influence in the region.
