CM Bhajan Lal Sharma Inaugurates Rs 559 Crore Projects, Pledges Heritage Protection
CM Sharma Launches Rs 559 Cr Projects in Shekhawati

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurated a series of development projects with a total value of Rs 559 crore on Wednesday. The ceremony was held at the Shekhawati Sports Academy in Ramgarh Shekhawati town, located in the Sikar district.

Focus on Preserving Shekhawati's Cultural Legacy

During his address, Chief Minister Sharma placed significant emphasis on the conservation of the region's rich architectural heritage. He stated that the iconic havelis, chhatris, wells, baoris, and forts of Shekhawati are invaluable treasures. Sharma asserted that their preservation is achievable only with the active cooperation of the general public alongside government efforts.

He highlighted that these well-maintained heritage sites have the potential to become major drivers for tourism promotion in the region, boosting the local economy and creating opportunities.

Government's Development Agenda and Achievements

Outlining his administration's vision, CM Sharma said the objective is to ensure the all-round development of every individual in the state. He claimed that in the past two years, the state's BJP government has established new benchmarks for progress across all sectors.

In a bold declaration, the Chief Minister stated that his government has already fulfilled 70% of the promises it made during the election campaigns. On the law and order front, he assured that the state police administration would deal strictly with criminals, promising a firm response to any crime.

Job Creation and a Dig at the Opposition

Looking ahead, Sharma announced an ambitious target of providing four lakh jobs over the government's five-year tenure. Furthermore, he promised to introduce a new policy aimed at empowering the youth to become job creators (job givers) rather than merely job seekers.

In a direct political attack, the Chief Minister advised citizens to stay away from the Congress party. He labeled it as a government that "cheats people with lies and assurances," drawing a clear contrast with his administration's claimed track record of delivery.

Other Dignitaries and a Pointed Question

The public meeting was also addressed by several prominent leaders, including Autonomous Governance Minister Jhabarsingh Kharra, BJP leader Shravan Chaudhary, former MLA Ratanjaldhari, and former state president of Kisan Morcha Hariram Ranwan.

Adding a note of scrutiny, former Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore also spoke. While discussing Shekhawati's heritage, he pointedly questioned the Chief Minister about an alleged fraud worth crores of rupees committed against the public in the name of 'Nexa Green'.
