BJP Announces Major Organizational Reshuffle in Madhya Pradesh
In a significant move to strengthen its grassroots structure, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed new in-charges for 62 organizational districts across Madhya Pradesh. This announcement was made on Saturday after an extensive meeting involving divisional heads and key office-bearers of the party.
High-Level Consultations Lead to Key Appointments
The decision was finalized by BJP state chief Hemant Khandelwal, who worked in close consultation with the party's regional organizational general secretary, Ajay Jamwal. The meeting, which lasted several hours, focused on strategizing and optimizing the party's organizational framework to enhance its effectiveness in the state.
Notable appointments include:
- Alok Sanjar, former MP from the Bhopal Lok Sabha seat, has been appointed as the in-charge of Jabalpur (city).
- Sudarshan Gupta, a former minister, will now oversee Betul district.
- Pradeep Lariya, a sitting BJP MLA, has been entrusted with the responsibility of Nariyavali.
- Pushpendra Nath Pathak, a former legislator, will manage Tikamgarh district.
- Shailendra Jain, MLA from the Sagar assembly seat, has been named in-charge of Ashokenagar.
- Lokendra Parashar, former chief of the BJP state media cell, will handle Sagar district.
Women Leaders Given Prominent Roles
In a move to bolster women's representation within the party hierarchy, two state vice-presidents have been assigned key responsibilities. Nandita Pathak has been made in-charge of Maihar, while Manisha Singh will oversee Jabalpur (rural). These appointments reflect the BJP's ongoing efforts to integrate diverse leadership into its organizational setup.
The reorganization is seen as a strategic step to streamline party operations and prepare for upcoming electoral challenges. By placing experienced leaders and former officials in critical positions, the BJP aims to reinforce its political dominance in Madhya Pradesh and address local issues more effectively.
