Sharad Pawar Recovers Well, Set for Discharge from Pune Hospital

In a positive health update, Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) chief Sharad Pawar is in good health and has recovered well, according to medical authorities at Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune. The senior political leader is scheduled to be discharged from the hospital today, Saturday.

Medical Team Advises Rest Before Resuming Duties

Purvez Grant, Chief Cardiologist, Chairman and Managing Trustee of Ruby Hall Clinic, confirmed that Mr. Pawar's condition has improved significantly. The medical team has advised him to take adequate rest for a few days before gradually returning to his routine work and public engagements. This cautious approach ensures complete recovery and prevents any potential complications.

"Mr. Pawar is in good health and has recovered well. He will be discharged today. The medical team has advised him to take adequate rest for a few days, following which he may gradually resume his routine work and public engagement," stated Doctor Grant, providing reassurance about the leader's medical status.

Hospitalization Details and Family Updates

Sharad Pawar was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic on February 9 after developing chest congestion. His daughter, Supriya Sule, had earlier explained that he required a five-day course of antibiotics to treat the condition. In a social media post, she noted that while he had chest congestion, all other vital parameters were normal, and she expressed gratitude for the public's good wishes and the medical team's care.

"Baba has developed chest congestion and will need a 5-day course of antibiotics. Fortunately, all other vital parameters are normal. Thank you all for your good wishes and constant support. A heartfelt thank you to all the doctors from the bottom of my heart," Sule shared on platform X, keeping supporters informed about her father's progress.

Party Leaders Provide Additional Assurance

Meanwhile, NCP-SCP leader Rohit Pawar offered further confirmation of the senior leader's stable condition on Monday. He emphasized that Sharad Pawar's health is currently very good, with all necessary tests conducted. Importantly, he has not been kept in the Intensive Care Unit but rather in a private room, indicating that his condition did not require critical care.

"Sharad Pawar's health is very good right now. His tests have been done there. He has not been kept in the ICU. He has been kept in a private room there. He doesn't need any support there right now. Once the reports come, it will be decided whether he will be kept in Pune or Mumbai," Rohit Pawar explained, highlighting the planned next steps based on medical evaluation.

Decision on Location and Appeal to Supporters

Rohit Pawar added that a decision regarding whether Sharad Pawar will remain in Pune or be shifted to Mumbai will be made after reviewing the medical reports. He noted that Pawar arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle and that everything is proceeding normally, suggesting no emergency transport was needed.

In a considerate move, Rohit Pawar also appealed to party workers and well-wishers to avoid visiting the hospital to prevent inconvenience to other patients. He assured that regular updates would be provided by himself, Supriya Sule, the medical team, and party representatives from across Maharashtra, ensuring transparency without disrupting hospital operations.

"I, Supriya Tai, the doctors, the party workers, and people from across Maharashtra will provide regular updates," he stated, coordinating communication efforts to keep everyone informed while maintaining hospital decorum.
