Rohit Pawar Calls for Impartial Investigation into Ajit Pawar's Fatal Plane Crash
In a significant development, Rohit Pawar has formally requested a comprehensive and transparent investigation into the tragic plane crash that claimed the life of Ajit Pawar on January 28. He has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, emphasizing the need to address numerous doubts surrounding the incident.
Doubts Presented Publicly and to Authorities
Rohit Pawar stated that he had previously highlighted these concerns during a press conference, where facts were shared with the public. "Numerous doubts have arisen regarding the plane crash involving Ajitdada, and these doubts were presented to the public through a press conference along with the facts," he explained.
He further revealed that attempts to meet with key officials, including Home Minister Amit Shah, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), were unsuccessful. Consequently, he sent detailed emails along with a presentation outlining all doubts to these authorities, urging a thorough and impartial probe to bring the truth to light.
Confidence in Positive Response and Ongoing Pursuit
Expressing optimism, Rohit Pawar added, "I am confident that a positive response will be received on this, and an objective resolution to the many questions troubling me and the entire Maharashtra will be achieved." He shared this message in a post on X, reiterating his commitment to seeking justice.
Despite some momentum in the investigation post-press conference, he noted that progress has been slower than expected. "Even after holding the press conference, while the investigation has gained some momentum, it is still not progressing at the expected pace," he said. He questioned why the DGCA did not grant time for a meeting, even if other ministers were occupied with parliamentary sessions.
Allegations of Sabotage and Continued Efforts
Earlier, Rohit Pawar had raised suspicions of sabotage in the crash, adding to the urgency for a detailed inquiry. He emphasized that despite not being in power, he is pursuing the matter diligently. "Even if the authorities have not given time, all the information has been sent to them; even though we are not in power, we are pursuing the matter in our own way, and I expect that the state government and everyone in power will also follow up on this," he asserted.
