Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of 'undermining' the achievements of India and its people. Speaking in Bengaluru, she highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership during the West Asia crisis, ensuring no disruption in fuel supply.

Sitharaman stated that Gandhi's comments often belittle the progress made by the nation. She emphasized that the Modi government has consistently worked for the welfare of the people and the country's development.
West Asia Crisis and Fuel Supply
Referring to the recent tensions in West Asia, the Finance Minister credited PM Modi for maintaining stable fuel supplies despite global uncertainties. She noted that the government's proactive measures prevented any crisis at home.
The minister also urged political leaders to appreciate the efforts of the government and refrain from making statements that could demoralize the nation.
