Haryana BJP Chief Hails Youth for Viksit Bharat

Chandigarh: Haryana BJP president Dr Archana Gupta on Sunday hailed the youth as the party's "greatest strength and central to nation-building". She stated that the youth would be the driving force behind Viksit Bharat and Viksit Haryana.

Speaking at the State Youth Workers' Conference on the "Role of Youth in Organisation" at the BJP office – Shyam Kamal – in Panipat, Gupta emphasised that the BJP is not merely a political party but a mission of nation-building where youth participation is vital.

She highlighted 12 years of the Narendra Modi government as transformative, citing development, governance reforms, welfare delivery and a push for self-reliance. Gupta noted that flagship initiatives like Skill India, Startup India, Digital India, Make in India, MUDRA Yojana and the National Education Policy have expanded opportunities, turning youth into job creators.

She also praised Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for transparent, merit-based recruitment free of corruption, which has strengthened trust in governance. The Haryana BJP stated that welfare schemes for farmers, women, and the poor, including PM Kisan, crop insurance, irrigation expansion, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Ujjwala, PM Awas, Ayushman Bharat, free ration, Har Ghar Jal, and Jan Dhan, have improved living standards.

Urging youth workers to take these schemes to the grassroots, she expressed confidence that youngsters would strengthen the development mission under Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Saini.
