IAS officer Sudhir Rajpal has been appointed as the additional chief secretary for multiple critical departments. His new roles include overseeing the home, jails, criminal investigation, and administration of justice departments. Additionally, he has been entrusted with the additional charge of the additional chief secretary for the environment, forests, and wildlife department, reflecting the government's focus on law enforcement and environmental conservation.
Sumita Misra Takes Over Health and Revenue Portfolios
IAS officer Sumita Misra has been named the additional chief secretary and financial commissioner in the revenue and disaster management department. She will also assume the charge of the additional chief secretary for the departments of health and family welfare, medical education and research, and Ayush, filling a vacant post. This appointment comes as she takes over these responsibilities from Sudhir Rajpal, who has been relieved of these duties.
Arun Kumar Gupta's Strategic Role
IAS officer Arun Kumar Gupta has been appointed as the principal secretary to the Haryana chief minister.
