Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday visited the residence of Siswa MLA Prem Sagar Patel in Pipra Babu village to pay tribute to his wife, Bindrawati Devi. Devi passed away on April 23 during a religious visit to Vrindavan.
Expressing deep condolences, he prayed to Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath for eternal peace to the departed soul. CM Yogi also met the bereaved family members and consoled them during the difficult time.
The chief minister's gesture of personally visiting the MLA's home underscored the close ties within the state's political circles. He spent time with the family, offering words of comfort and support.
Bindrawati Devi was widely respected in the community, and her sudden demise during the pilgrimage has left many in mourning. Local leaders and residents have also been paying their respects at the Patel residence.
This visit comes amid the ongoing election season, with results for several states being closely watched. However, the chief minister prioritized this personal engagement, reflecting his commitment to standing by party members in times of grief.
