Patna: A youth was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Mahmadpur village under Painal panchayat in the Bihta police station area of Patna district on Monday. The deceased was identified as Anirodh Rai, son of Munnai Rai. He was the eldest of three brothers.
His family members rushed him to NSIT Hospital in Bihta, where doctors declared him brought dead. According to police, Anirodh sustained two bullet injuries, one in the head and the other in the chest. The incident occurred outside his house.
