The complaint details a particularly violent incident on the night of July 29, 2025, around 2 a.m. Lata alleges that her husband, father-in-law, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law collectively assaulted her, verbally abused her, and then forcibly ejected her from the house.
In a desperate attempt to seek help, the woman immediately dialed the emergency helpline number 112. However, she claims that no effective action was taken by the responders at that critical moment. Following this failure to secure immediate assistance, she took matters into her own hands and approached the women's police station in Hazratganj to file a formal complaint.
