Dispute Over Accidental Touch Escalates to Violence
The victim, identified as 49-year-old Upendra Manjhi, a resident of the same village, was brutally attacked with sticks and an axe following a dispute that erupted over an accidental touch while dancing. According to police reports, the altercation began when Upendra inadvertently touched the daughter-in-law of one of the accused while dancing to DJ music at the wedding festivities.
A heated verbal exchange ensued, after which Upendra decided to return to his home. However, the situation took a violent turn when the accused, along with approximately 15 other individuals, allegedly followed him to his residence.
