Vizag Man and Mother Arrested for Heinous Sexual Assault of Minor Girl
In a shocking case from Andhra Pradesh, the Payakaraopeta police in Anakapalle district have arrested a 20-year-old man and his mother for the alleged sexual assault of a minor girl. The arrested individuals have been identified as D Saichandu, aged 20, and his mother, Yamuna. Both are natives of Visakhapatnam, commonly known as Vizag. According to police reports, Saichandu befriended the minor victim, who is a second-year intermediate student from Anakapalle studying in Vizag, through a mutual friend.
The police investigation revealed a disturbing pattern of manipulation and coercion. Saichandu allegedly threatened the girl, stating he would end his life if she did not reciprocate his feelings. Under the false pretext of love and marriage, he lured her to various locations where he sexually assaulted her.
Mother's Alleged Complicity and Victim's Ordeal
The situation escalated in January when Saichandu took the minor girl to his home. It is alleged that his mother, Yamuna, supported her son in this criminal act. The victim faced continuous harassment from both Saichandu and Yamuna, creating an unbearable environment for the young girl.
Unable to endure the trauma any longer, the girl eventually returned to her parents' home and courageously narrated the entire harrowing episode. Her parents immediately took action, leading to the filing of a formal complaint with the Payakaraopeta police.
