In a significant move to bolster security for millions of devotees, the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the Uttar Pradesh Police carried out a comprehensive mock drill at the sprawling Magh Mela campus in Prayagraj on Tuesday. The exercise was designed to rigorously test the preparedness of security and response teams for potential emergency scenarios, including terror threats and suicide bombing attacks.
Inter-Agency Coordination Put to the Test
The mock drill formed a critical part of the extensive security arrangements for the ongoing annual religious and spiritual fair.
