Ghaziabad Police Arrest Two More Suspects in Khoda Dhaba Murder Case Following Gunfight

In a significant development in the Khoda dhaba double murder case, Ghaziabad police have apprehended two more individuals after a dramatic gunfight. This comes just a day after the arrest of the dhaba owner, marking a crucial breakthrough in the investigation that has gripped the region.

Violent Confrontation Leads to Arrests

According to police officials, the two suspects were located during routine patrolling in the area. ACP Indirapuram Abhishek Shrivastava stated that when officers attempted to stop them, the men opened fire in a desperate bid to escape. In the ensuing exchange, both were shot in their legs and subsequently admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

From their possession, authorities seized a stolen motorcycle, two pistols, and several cartridges. This violent confrontation underscores the dangerous nature of the suspects involved in this heinous crime.

Minors Detained and Murder Weapons Recovered

During interrogation, the arrested men provided information leading to the identification of two minors allegedly connected to the murders. Police conducted a swift raid and took both juveniles into custody. Most critically, two knives used in the stabbing were recovered from the minors, providing tangible evidence linking them directly to the crime scene.

Investigations have revealed that these minors were employed at the Vaishno Dhaba in Khoda, the site of the tragic incident. Their involvement adds a disturbing layer to the case, highlighting the participation of young individuals in a violent dispute.

Background of the Fatal Altercation

The incident traces back to January 30, when a seemingly trivial argument over delayed food service escalated into fatal violence. Customers Shripal and Satyam were stabbed to death, while their friend Anurag sustained injuries. The altercation reportedly began when one of the friends slapped a staff member for serving their roti late.

Police confirmed that the detained minors were part of the group that attacked the three friends following the initial dispute. Anurag is currently recovering in a hospital, while the community reels from the brutality of the attack.

Legal Charges and Previous Arrest

The Khoda police station has registered a comprehensive case against the two arrested men under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including:

  • Section 103: Murder
  • Section 109: Attempt to murder
  • Section 191(2): Rioting
  • Section 191(3): Rioting armed with deadly weapon
  • Section 190: Every member of unlawful assembly guilty of offence committed in prosecution of common object

This follows the earlier arrest on Sunday of Dharmendra Sharma, the owner of Vaishno Dhaba. The successive arrests demonstrate a coordinated police effort to bring all perpetrators to justice.

The case continues to develop as authorities piece together the full sequence of events and motives behind this shocking crime that has raised serious concerns about public safety and dispute resolution in local establishments.
