In a devastating road accident that occurred in the early hours of Monday morning, three young individuals lost their lives, and two others sustained critical injuries. The horrific incident took place in Bahraich district, Uttar Pradesh, when a car violently collided with a roadside tree and overturned, resulting in immediate fatalities.

The victims were reportedly en route to Uttarakhand's revered Kainchi Dham for a religious pilgrimage when the tragedy unfolded around 4 am. The accident occurred on the Nanpara–Lakhimpur road, specifically near Semrahna village under the jurisdiction of the Motipur police station. According to preliminary reports, the car was traveling at a significant speed when the driver lost control, leading to the catastrophic crash.
The impact of the collision was described as extremely severe by eyewitnesses and police officials. The force of the crash was so intense that the vehicle's front portion was completely shattered, and parts of the car were thrown several metres away from the main wreckage. The roof of the car was ripped off the chassis, leaving the occupants trapped inside the mangled remains of the vehicle.

The deceased have been identified as Abhishek Shukla, a 25-year-old branch manager with Shriram Finance; Deepu Verma, an 18-year-old resident of Civil Lines; and Nitish Singh, a 19-year-old from Alinagar. All three succumbed to their injuries on the spot, highlighting the brutality of the accident.
Two other occupants of the car, Ajay Sharma and Lovkush Sharma, sustained serious injuries in the crash. They were immediately rushed to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment. Their current condition remains critical, and they are under close medical supervision.
Police investigations reveal that Abhishek Shukla had departed late on Sunday night along with his four friends for the religious trip to Kainchi Dham. The group was traveling in Shukla's personal car when the accident occurred. Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that the collision was alarmingly violent, causing significant damage to the vehicle and its surroundings.
