Tragic Road Accidents in Andhra Pradesh Claim Three Lives
In a devastating turn of events, three people lost their lives in two separate road accidents that occurred in the districts of Tirupati and Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh on Monday. These incidents highlight the ongoing concerns regarding road safety in the region.
First Accident: Motorbike Crash in Tirupati District
The first tragic incident took place near Krishnapuram village in Nagalapuram mandal of Tirupati district. Two young men, identified as Nagaraju (23) and Sanjay (23), were killed when their motorbike collided with a tree. According to police reports, both victims were residents of local areas and were employed at a private company in Puduvai, Tamil Nadu.
Police investigation revealed that the duo had attended a wedding at Nagalapuram on Sunday night and were returning home on their two-wheeler. Due to overspeeding, the rider lost control of the vehicle near Krishnapuram, causing it to crash into a tree along the roadside. Both the rider and the pillion rider sustained fatal injuries, leading to instantaneous death at the scene.
The bodies were subsequently shifted to the government hospital in Satyavedu for a post-mortem examination. Authorities have registered a case, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
Second Accident: Head-On Collision in Chittoor District
In a separate incident, a 30-year-old man was killed on the national highway near the welfare boys' hostel at Karvetinagaram in Chittoor district. The deceased has been identified as Shankar Reddy, a resident of Kasa Thota Street.
Shankar Reddy was travelling from Puttur to his native place on a motorcycle when a van from the opposite direction collided with his vehicle. The impact of the collision resulted in severe injuries, and Shankar Reddy died on the spot. Police have registered a case at the Karvetinagaram police station, and an investigation is ongoing to ascertain the details of this tragic event.
