Three Killed, One Injured in Fatal Motorcycle Collision on Bhilwara-Tonk Highway
A devastating head-on collision between two motorcycles on the Bhilwara-Tonk National Highway 148D near Nathun village under the Jahajpur police station area of Bhilwara district has resulted in three fatalities and one serious injury. The tragic incident occurred on Sunday, sending shockwaves through the local community.
Victims Identified in the Tragic Accident
The deceased have been officially identified as Jitendra Meghvanshi (35), Narendra Meghvanshi (36), and Vishal (19). According to police reports, Jitendra and Narendra were traveling together on a motorcycle from their home to Shakargarh town to attend to some work-related matters. Simultaneously, Vishal was riding with his friend Rahul on another motorcycle from their village Jojhar to Jahajpur, where they were scheduled to appear for the Rajasthan State Certificate in Information Technology examination.
Details of the Collision and Police Response
Shahpura ASP Rajesh Arya provided critical details about the accident. He stated that Jitendra and Narendra's motorcycle was in the process of overtaking a trailer when it collided head-on with the other bike coming from the opposite direction. The impact of the crash was so severe that all three individuals—Jitendra, Narendra, and Vishal—died instantly at the scene.
Vishal's friend, Rahul (18), who was riding with him on the same motorcycle, sustained serious injuries in the collision. He was promptly admitted to Jahajpur hospital for emergency medical treatment, where his condition is being closely monitored.
ASP Rajesh Arya further reported that upon receiving information about the incident, he immediately rushed to the spot along with Shahpura ADM Prakash Chandra. The officials conducted a thorough inspection of the accident site to gather evidence and understand the circumstances leading to the fatal crash.
Post-Accident Procedures and Community Impact
Following the inspection, police personnel shifted the bodies to the hospital for a mandatory post-mortem examination. After the necessary legal formalities were completed, the bodies were respectfully handed over to their respective families for last rites. The local community has been left in mourning, with residents expressing deep sorrow over the loss of young lives in such a sudden and tragic manner.
