Suspended Gurgaon Doctor Arrested for Extortion Plot with Wife
Suspended Gurgaon Doctor Arrested in Extortion Case

Police in Gurgaon have arrested a 42-year-old government doctor on charges of extortion and conspiracy. The accused allegedly posed as a senior health department official to threaten a local property dealer with false rape cases.

Doctor and Wife Allegedly Plotted Extortion Scheme

Krishna Kumar Jaildar, a resident of Manuvas village in Nuh district, was taken into custody from Panchkula on Sunday. Authorities state that Jaildar claimed to be the deputy director of the health department during the extortion attempts.

Investigators revealed that the suspended MBBS doctor demanded up to sixteen lakh rupees from the complainant. The money was supposedly in exchange for withdrawing a fabricated rape complaint.

Confession Reveals Elaborate Conspiracy

During questioning, Jaildar admitted to his medical background and current suspension status. He previously served postings in Panchkula and Government Hospital in Gurgaon's Sector 10.

The accused confessed to conspiring with his wife to file a false rape case. Their primary motives were avoiding repayment of borrowed funds and extorting additional money. Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar confirmed these details.

"His wife filed the complaint at the Women police station as part of their plan," Kumar stated. "We are investigating whether other individuals played roles in this scheme."

How the Extortion Plot Unfolded

The property dealer, who operates an office in Sector 51, first met Jaildar through a mutual friend in 2023. The doctor and an associate began visiting the complainant's office regularly.

They borrowed five to six lakh rupees on various pretexts, including car-related expenses. The accused claimed his bank account had been seized, making transactions difficult.

Threats and Intimidation Tactics

When the property dealer requested repayment, Jaildar allegedly boasted about powerful connections. He threatened to implicate the complainant in false rape cases if the money demands weren't met.

The conspiracy intensified on August 12, 2023. A woman visited the dealer's office and threatened serious consequences unless payments were made. Fortunately, the complainant recorded video evidence of this incident while other witnesses were present.

False Complaint Filed via Email

Shortly after the threat, a rape complaint arrived via email at the Women police station in Sector 51. However, the woman who supposedly filed the complaint failed to appear before police when summoned for questioning.

Case Resurfaces with Fresh Complaint

The matter gained new momentum on October 24, 2025. The woman, accompanied by Jaildar, submitted a fresh written rape complaint against the property dealer and his friend.

Following this development, the accused demanded seven lakh rupees initially. He later increased the amount to sixteen lakh rupees while insisting on cash payments and refusing bank transfers.

Police Action and Arrest

Based on the property dealer's complaint, authorities registered a case at Sector 50 police station. This legal action led directly to Jaildar's arrest on Sunday.

Investigators continue examining all aspects of this complex extortion scheme. They are particularly focused on determining the complete network involved in threatening the businessman with fabricated criminal charges.
